Project Overview
Every bedroom has its own challenges, from chimney breasts and alcoves to sloping ceilings and awkward layouts. This project was designed to make full use of the available space, creating generous storage while maintaining a clean, timeless appearance.
Each wardrobe was made to measure, fitted wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, with traditional shaker doors and carefully considered proportions. The result is a piece of furniture that feels like part of the home rather than something added afterwards.
The Brief
The client wanted to replace freestanding wardrobes with bespoke fitted furniture that would:

Create a symmetrical layout around the fireplace
Blend seamlessly with the period character of the room

The Design
The wardrobes were individually designed to fit the room perfectly, making use of otherwise wasted space while keeping the existing fireplace as the room's focal point.

The Finished Result
